My New Life
I used to to put everyone above me And I could touch no one so no one loved me And I knew something was wrong I wasted myself becoming obese was a dream I didn't see it coming comparing and never daring To let myself shine it seemed All I had was my voice and a few petty rhymes One day they said "try" and try did I I pumped more iron and I changed in a small way I let that go and I tried something more I'd always like to sing, but never anything for I competed in All Region I made the cut Singing and lifting got me somewhere but make me it did not. I made myself And I'm proud to say My life as a teen Is only beginning today |
