yeah, ever had plans cancelled on you? Upsetting huh?

After I came back from my church retreat last summer, I was so psyched and ready for the next one that I promised I would behave myself in school when it started. It was a high school I have been dreading to go to since the start of junior high. Nonetheless, I tried to enjoy it, because I knew that when summer came, I would be able to go to that retreat again. Times were hard for me in high school because I still wasn't able to fit in, but I got through, until last week. I was in a symphony that required all advanced flute players to go to a camp which trains you. The newsletter told me that the camp was absoblutely mandatory, no excuses. However it overlayed with my church retreat. So yeah, I've been so sad and bothered by it lately, because the best part of my summer just flew out the window with that simple newsletter. sad.gif

And you guys are probably like, "Yeah, whatever. It's JUST a retreat." But it's more than that to me. Most of you who have never experienced the love of God flowing through you wouldn't know, but that's a different story.

I have experienced it happy.gif He is awesome isn't he? biggrin.gif I'm sorry that you can't go to this retreat again, but if it was the best part about ur summer, then maybe you should consider giving up the band camp thing for the retreat. I'm sure things will work out tho happy.gif

Yeah, too bad band camp is mandatory. It's part of the extracurricular activity symphony I'm in, and that means college credit.
what i do for college..-.-

I'm sorry that happened to you. It's happened to me too many times to count. I hate it when it happens, but I have to suck it up and hope that I can make them again later.

that sucks.. i remember when i was in kindergarden, i really want to go home and eat lunch (who knows.. i was a kid, i thought kids who eat lunch at home are cool), so one day my mom finally agreed to take me home for lunch, i was so excited all day, then she came and told me that she couldn't. i was so upset that during our filming, the director/teacher couldn't get me to stop crying..

I hope somehow everything will work out.

I was also planning to go to a retreat too. And I got so excited. Then. It hit me. My dad told me that I couldn't go. I got mad and threw a tantrum. LOL. Anyhow, I still couldn't go. mad.gif
