i went "bra-shopping" yesterday lol...and i'm a 34B and i hav no idea if thats "big" or "small"...i'm in 8th grade. what exactly are the bra sizes?? i was all confused lol.

Don't worry, though! It just means you're more developed than other girls in your grade.

If it's big or small, I'm not sure, but I read that the average bra size for ANY woman in a 36 B. So yeah.

Sizes , 34 , 36 etc are the size of your back it has nothing to do with your boob size .

In Hong Kong, girls didn't wear bras, we wear a kind of tank top with cups.
The cups do not demarcate the cup size.
So that Hong Kong girls may not know their cup size.

From Victoria's Secret sizing chart, I love shoping for bras, and underwear!

BRA SIZE: HOW TO MEASURE

BAND SIZE
• Measure around your ribcage, directly under the bust.
• Add 5 to this measurement to obtain your band size. (i.e.: If your ribcage measurement is 29" + (5) = 34" band size.)

CUP SIZE
• Measure completely around the bust at the fullest point.
• Each inch of difference between this measurement and your BAND size = cup size. (i.e.: If your band size is 34" and your bust measurement is 35", you wear an "A" cup.)

If the difference is:
less than 1 inch = AA cup

I'm also in the 8th grade, 14y/o, and I'm a 34C, with my body tpye it looks pretty big. Everything comes into play.

i would say 34b is average. me, i'm a 34b and i have two friends that are, a friend that is a 34d and two that are 34cs...i don't know the rest of their sizes lol.

Yea. It's all weird. I have 3 different bras, and they're all different sizes. So I have no how big mines are. Lol. I don't think my boobs are that big, but people think I do because most of them are quite flat compared to mines. It's all weird. But I guess I would want to move into B sometime.

there's really no such thing as normal.... normal is you, no matter what you're like. I'm a 34 A and i'm in gr 11....no worries tho, if I really feel the need to have bigger boobs, i wear a pushup bra, or something with padding

There are girls that go to my high school who are still As and they're graduating in a few months. Im 5' 0" and Im a 34B. It all just depends on your body type, I think. But yeah.. there are girls in my grade that are DD.

It's terrible how guys notice a girl by their bra size. It's just another thing that the media pushes towards you. Everybody is different and if your still in 8th grade your just not done developing. You stop growing in your late teens/early twenties so you really won't know if your done growing or not for awhile.

It really depends on your body type! That sounds pretty normal to big for an 8th grader though. You'll find out if you're "big" once guys hit puberty. They let you know lol
