entry backrounds, help! Options

Alright. I was wondering if it was possible to have your entries backrounds a different color then your WHOLE backround. If you take a look at my xanga, the backround colors that I'm trying to change are the ones within the borders. On xanga, there is already a setting to change the module's backround color, so now I'm just wondering how to change the color of the backrounds on your entries.

Sorry if that was confusing. Any help at all would be appreciated.
