ok i have this problem me and my boyfriend we tlk and stuff wen we see eachother but you see he never really calls me on the fone n it just kills me ive called him a couple of times n its been really awkward but wen wer talkin(not on the fone) everything is perfectly normal with the boy i feel so in love with!

if he's not talking, then you gotta be the one to lure him into the conversation. can you give me an example of what your phone conversation is normally like? |

Don't rush into things.. maybe he's still kinda iffy about talking to you on the phone because he's shy.. Even though you two do talk more in person. I agree with uninspiredfae that you two should plan things to talk about or you should think of things to talk about that interest him. Get him to open up and crawl out of his shell.
Haha I remember it used to be the other way around during the first month of my relationship with my boyfriend. He would only talk a lot on the phone or online, but when we were at school or I would go to his house (once a week), he didn't talk that much. We kinda just hung out and watched a dvd or something. Also, tell him how you feel.. That you want to talk to him on the phone but there's always an awkward silence. That'll get him to start talking ;] |

Hmm, maybe he just isn't a phone person, like my boyfriend. Or, he can get really shy talking on the phone. Plan what to talk on the phone- maybe over time, he'll get more comfortable talking on the phone.

okay, I can TOTALLY relate to your boyfreind, hehe, I HATE the phone...I always get really nervous and tense while talking on it, aspecially with someone I dont' know very well, I jsut want it to end as fast as possible...
...and seeing as you've only known him 3 weeks weeks (or maybe you've known him longer but not as a boyfreind?) I'd give him a break. I can hardly talk comfertably with freinds I've known for like 5 years, lol...ya..it's kinda a mental block for me, although I'm slowly getting over it  Anyway, I wouldn't get to upset aobut it, probably he hasn't had a girlfreind before so doen'st know waht to talk about and/or has a mental block like me

..LOL im really starting to think its a "guy thing" cuz my bf only called me 3 times...in all.. i've been with him for 3 weeks. not long i know. but i called him at least 10 times. XD hah

Maybe he doesn't want his parents to know he has a girlfriend. My brother always hides his girlfriends.. I suppose it's because he doesn't want us getting into his "life"
