Well its not gay by far. its probably the hardest sport in school. with all the running and having to diet and workotu to make your weight everyweek i knwo a guy who sometimes has to go 4 dasy without eating and running 10 miles a day isn't fun either. yea 2 guys do roll around wresting and it does sometimes look gay but its harmless unless your wrestling someone who really is gay

it is an excellent sport, enjoyed by many excellent athletes around the world. it is an amazing, awesome, totally kick ass combat system for real combat. Any one who thinks Wrestling is Gay obviously thinks in the way which a homosexual thinks therefore is a closet homosexual Wrestling is one of the hardest sports ever, the training is immensly exhausing ans is superior to any stupid sports such as soccer. Gosh, I sounded so stupid right there. Wrestling is a very difficult sport. It uses a lot of muslces, and you can get injured a lot. I wouldn't consider that sport dumb when people are breaking their bones. |

It is hard especaily when you have to run 12 miles a day in sweats and underarmour. Then cut 10 pounds a week. I bet your p***y ass couldnt handle it. Im not gay and no one is that wrestles. And it may look like we have boners becasuse its so big and its spandex ass whole. And just to let you know we dont grab each other we go under there thigh to flip them. GO TO HELL. You know, a better question is what is considered gay. If you consider a sport or something of that kind gay - the your most likely a homophobic and need to seek immediate help. I am a wrestler and am not really offended by it, because if I put you in my shoes at practice you would not survive, and maybe you get up at the time I do and run as much as I do - when someone does what I do, then I can respect there opinions. haha yea i know what practice is like.. went to both JV n Varsity practice.. n dam What a diff.. JV = chill dont do much... just 5 mile runs n yea.. Varisty= non stop drilling, timed sprints, no watever break while lifting.. well.. like 2 watever breaks durring the whole practice.. (4 hours..) n yea who ever thinks wrestling is gay.. try doing that.. survival of the fittest.. who ever doesnt fit.. quit.. |

The word gay is definitly overused these days.
Not all wrestling is planned. WWE is planned, i use to watch it, people who don't watch it call it "gay" because they don't find the entertainment entertaining. There are many other people who enjoy watching it and i'm pretty sure they know it's fake. Just because they are in underwear wrestling doesn't mean they're gay, did you expect them to wrestle in raincoats and armour? Wrestling is an interesting sport and it DOES require TWO balls instead of one. Well said well said. |

When I was younger, I always thought it was pretty gay to have two men wrestle with each other in what seemed like leather underwear. But since women are more invovled, it`s become less so.

haha i love how theres this giant whirlpool of people in here contemplating the differences between professional wrestling and biddy wrestling/greco roman/freestyle/whatever.
Professional wrestling is called "sports entertainment" for a reason!!! Highschool/college wrestling is very strenuous.give it a try. i myself have done this sport and it was great but the work is very tough but it all pays off in the end. |

I'm not saying that Wrestling isn't a very difficult and physically demanding sport...but yeah, it's got some homo aspects to it. It's probably the second most physically demanding sport on campus behind football and even that's debateable.
