Can you remember when the most meaningful convo is that you had in an IM?[

my friend tried to kill himself, and i was talking to him on an im since he had his phone off the hook. i was the only one he wanted to talk to, and he told me he was cutting himself. it scared the shit out of me, turns out he DID cut himself and he was rushed to the hospital for losing blood to quickly. he's ok now, he went through a psychiatrist [sp?], but it was really depressing for me, since i tried to talk him out of it

Yeah, I remember it very vividly. I had it saved on my computer until it crashed. It was when I found out that my best friend had mutual feelings for me, we just won't do anything about it until after higschool. Hopefully, we keep in touch. I don't know what I'm going to do without him next year. It will kill me.

I like those IM's where you haven't spoken to the other person for the entire time they have been online but they still IM you to say goodnight and sweet dreams.. there like surprise IM's
 The most meaningful IM I had was with my EX crush. Over the summertime we would stay on late at night and talk to each other until we couldn't take how sleepy we were. I wish I could remember one our convos but I can't. I should of saved them.. |

I guess I've had two.
First one -- When I was talking to a friend of mine and we realized we liked each other. He then proceeded to ask me to be his girlfriend, which I accepted. Second one -- Talking a friend out of suicide. He was very, very serious about it. That conversation led to our current, more strong relationship. I've had several meaningful IMs. One was where a friend was telling another friend whom I was IMing with and telling them they were going to commit suicide and so I had to help my friend try to convince the other person not to. Yes...other ones were fights, breakups (lame I know) and things of that sort.
