Have you notice that there had been lots of Advertising happening these day from the same person? Do u think cb should do anything about them?

i dont really notice much adverstisment. just people advertising their xangas or myspace or what not. but yeah, cB should do something about advertisements instead of just warnign them. =\

Not really. Just with xanga's and myspces on their sigs, but not like a thread completely dedicated to their site or whatever. Cept for the showcases. Maybe with bands they like? BUt everyone does that anyhow...

this morning, someone posted a bunch of advertising topics. I think they make new accounts just to advertise. Usually they're a newbie with hardly any posts. If they repeatedly(sp.?) make topics for the sole purpose of advertising, then I think it's only right to warn them, or take some sort of action.

yah that happens every so often, but after the person posts a few advertisements they usually never come back.

The mods can just close their threads (or delete them if they wish) and edit the post and take out the link. |

I don't really think it's that big of problem because it only happens every once in a while by some newbies (majority of the time.) But yeah, I've noticed.
