And it's not a SHE. THEY are a band called Evanescence. The SHE is named Amy Lee. She isn't Evanescence, she's just the lead singer of the band, Evanescence. Too many people know her as "Evanescence"....

Well, anyways....they're an okay band. I really respect her for her amazing vocals. ^_^

Yeah, I agree with Amy - Amy Lee has a great voice. But, the only song I've ever liked from them is "My Immortal" because I never liked any of their other songs. I actually like their newer material opposed to their old for some reason...

They're okay, but I just don't like them anymore. Hearing their C.D. over and over again made me realise that most of their songs sound way too similiar. Plus, I heard that the Ben guy, who was originally with Amy Lee left the band. I'd hate to admit it, but I personally think they're overrated now.

I do like the songs 'My Immortal', 'Tourniquet', and 'Bring Me to Life' when the mood fits though.

I'm not a fan of any rock, lol. The lead singer is great =) BUT i don't think her voice works with the band.. that's just me though. Her sweet voice doesn't work with the rock.. for me..

I think its obvious I love them. They're absolutely wonderful in concert. Amy's voice and talent with a piano is amazing. John, Rocky, Will, and Terry are extraordinary musicians. They have everything I have ever looked for in a band. And their heads aren't swolen.
As to my favorite songs...Breathe No More, Anywhere, Lies, Exodus, Imaginary, pretty much all of their new, old, and everything in between songs.

As many of you should know, I'm a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE Ev fav. But lately I've been listening to a lot of different bands, and I've noticed I'm a LOT happier than I was before. Not sure if it has anything to do w/ Ev or not, but hey. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Lol, as I've told you before, I hate the way they've gone mainstream as well. Do your research on the band, people. And all of you who are saying "she" rocks REALLY need to do research. Amy's name is not Evanescence and Will, Rocky, Terry, and John are not women. So I think you should probably start saying "they" instead of "she". Anyway, I've come to enjoy Origin and all of their older songs more than Fallen. I love Fallen but Origin is just wonderful. Can't wait to hear some new material.

i used to like them a lot but i found all these other bands and now they're not that great to me. sometimes i'll feel like listening to her sing and stuff but then i get frustrated because i can't sing like that...i admire her though...but sometimes she seems kinda conceited.

I'm not as a big fan of Evanescence as I was a year or so ago...I guess I just played their cd out. Amy Lee, she's talented, I give you that. I love her voice, it's gorgeous, I haven't gotten to see them live though. That'd be great, especially w/ a voice like that. The songs don't realy interest me, sure they give off the depressed vibe, but...it's still pretty boring to me. I only like a few tracks, ok, I lied, I like their first two singles and their slow songs...I don't know why, I even hate slow songs...
