Just wondering what everyone thought about this layout. It's actually v.2, dark colors are more my thing. V.1 is a black-background one, just a little different. And alos, hi, I'm Sarah, and totally new to this place.

its nice but you should add boders cuz its kinda of confusing on reading the entries and the banner you should add more brushes but overall its good.

Heh, I don't like crazy brushes, simple stuff is my thing. Thanks much, though.

ugh, too much pink is hurting my eyes..you should definitely add a border on your banner though.

Hmm. Well at least you made it simple.
Here's a general tip: banners should have at least one main focus that is a visual, that requires no words. Therefore banners that are made completely of words aren't exactly...what you want. I think that if you made a banner with some creativity and personal style behind it, and added that quote somewhere on there, the effect would make much more impact. Oh, and I think you should tone down that shade of pink a bit. Maybe more rose pink, less fluorescent. |

I like the pink... even though I'm not normally a fan of the color pink, but it seems a bit blinding on the white background. I agree about the banner needing a non-text focal point... it would add more impact.
