navigation, scrollbar, and music player Options

hmm, i was looking through the xanga showcase and i found this xanga that someone made a custom layout for:

i was wondering for the pictures that are part of the navigation, how do you make them light up ?

and also for the scrollbar for the blog, you know how there's those two arrows, how do you make it like that?

and finally, what's the code for the music player at the top?

For the scrollbar, make all the parts of the code the same color, BUT the part about arrows. That only works in IE though.
For the pictures.... I'm thinking rollovers.
Edit///Yeah, she used rollovers. You'll have to slice the image and do the rollovers. Look for a tutorial on that.

for the scroll bars i think the person who made the layout used there own image and alighn it but iono try pming that person and asking them.
