i dont understand it all..first guys want a gf now they want to be friends with benefits..i dont i mean whats the use in that?..i believe in being faithful..i mean tell me if im wrong but why do people choose using someone for wat they have to offer than gettin to kno them as an indavidual and gettin to kno their personal sides as well while bein faithful to them..any guys or girls wanna input on the pros n cons...

not al guys want that, so really, you're labelling as well, by lumping all men into that category.
but friends with benefits can be nice as just casual sex with no pressure, for the young.... you get pleasure without feelin boun dby complex emotions. however, on the flip side, a real relationship proides love and support for both parties,as well as just sexsexsex. |

I think alot of times it mite be because the title puts alot more weight on a relationship. And then u might feel pressured 2 do certain things, or act a certain way. And then if your friends with benifits, your not forced 2 do anything, or act in any particualr way.
On the other hand, a guy or girl might say they want 2 be friends w/ benifits because they might have someone else they want to be friends w/ benifits with. And since they dont want 2 cheat on their bf/gf, then friends w/ benifits title makes it safe and right to do... i guess

There is a thread in Relationships about being friends with benefits so you should read that and enlighten yourself on why anybody would like that alternative. Anyways, you yourself are labeling by generalizing all guys. I do have to say that I know many guys that would much rather prefer a relationship as well as I know many guys who just want some action. It really all depends and you should ask the guys you know about why it's like that for them.

friends with bebefits are basically like emergency hook-ups and calling up favors. Its not just sex, it includes like dayes to partoes and such. Plus, theres no attachment to those who aren't ready for a relationship

probably because people care more about sexual attractivness rather and the real person. but usually, it is the way a person looks that first attracts the person and then they get to know the person. but i don't really know about friends with benefits...it is kinda weird...
