well..i've been having this disagreement with a female friend for a while. and i think that guys don't call each other just to "chat". we have to have a reason. as in homework, trying to hook up with a girl or something. it's just something guys in general don't do. there are, however, exceptions.

I agree. Not that guys don't talk on the phone a lot (I mean, just look at my brother's cell phone bill) but it's all about plans and what to do that afternoon. Although sometimes my brother calls people up when something incredible happens.

^exactly. my brother actually talks on the phone more than I do, but it's only for a reason. For example, like when he calls to know where someone is or what time to meet. Also when something wonderful or horrible happens, like with sports, he makes phone calls.

See the thing is that not all girls chat for hours and hours on the phone. When it comes to phone calls my longest canversation was 10 minutes. that's it. i hate talking on the phone. just too boring.

well im on the phone all nigh long with my best friend talken bout just random stuff.. Sometimes i do 3 way with some people.. so its not just girls that talk on the phone for along time..

yea, guys don't talk with other guys for that long, some do but not most guys. unless of course a guy is talking to another girl that he admires, or is his girlfriend, then they're usually on the phone for a while

guys dun usually catch up on the phone, whereas gals can actually talk just about shopping for years... guys can actually just go out and meet up probably have a drink or club..... so yeh.. guys dun need to talk on the phone that long wif another guy unless for homework or something.... mmMMmmMmmmm

Yeah, that is true.
I have a cellphone for emergencies, I don't really use my cellphone to call my friends and just talk. I use it when I get lost or something and I call my mom to pick me up. |

at times some guys just call other guys to talk bout stuff...then other times it bout gurls,cars,sports all that stuff... normaly when a guy on the fone for awhile they talkin to close friends&family

I hardly ever use the phone. Calls to my house are generally for my sister or my mother. I don't like the sound of my voice and I tend to be more eloquent in speech when typing.
