I have this friend, we will call him dan. Well dan and i used to talk ALL THE TIME and now we hardley talk at all..and hes changed a lot, like now he sorta thinks hes better than me..and ya know..and i think this is caused by him being liked by a lot of girls. He is attractive and nice, and a ton of girls like him, but that makes him too preoccupied with himself to worry about friendships or anything..

Me and him just arent as close as we used to be..and now theres one of my friends that is inviting him over to her house..and she keeps thinking he likes her, but he told me that he doesnt like anyone right now..

its very confusing.
but what do you think i should do?

Well first, allow me to move this to the right forum.

Alright... your friend is growing up and discovering girls. What's the problem? He thinks he's better than you how? What does he do to make you feel that way?

uh...tough one...what's so attractive about the guy if he's so conceited anyways? I've known many good-looking guys who are as sweet as sugar but their self-centered personality just makes him inferior...

He's not worth your time, let him be..as for your girl friend, I guess you could tell her but you know how girls can be, they'll go all crazy saying "whatever, you're only jealous that he likes me" or soemthing like that..

^ I agree. Just leave him be. I think he's going through a phase or organizing his priorities right now. Sooner or later he'll surface again and realize how important your friendship is to him. _smile.gif

And don't say anything to your girl friend. Let Dan do the heartbreaking.

just because alot of girls like him and he stopped talking to you...that makes him better than you how again?
it's called growing up. he's beginning to discover girls so they take up his time too....his world doesn't revolve around you.
As for your friend...if you tell her he doesn't like her...she'll be mad at you...but if you don't..then she'll find out on her own.....either way she'll find out the truth....it's just that one way it involves her getting mad at you and the other where you get to help her through this.

You can have a talk with him... he needs someone to watch over him, even if he needs to "go through the phase"; someone needs to guide him. Try not to force it on him though; if he doesn't listen, then try getting other friends to help.

Wasent there a topic like this already? Oh well, ok so i think you should just talk to him and tell him how you feel. If he dosent understand you just leave it alone and stop being friends with him...
