are any of u close with or look up to ur older brother or sister...i am real close to my brother even thou hes 6 years older than me but we never chill with eachother like we use to... it makes me sad at times when i wanna go sumwhere with him and he tells me hes goin out with his friends....hes barely ever home and i do everything for him...cook for him cuz he still dusnt kno how to...i clean his room even when he dusnt ask and i still feel like he treats his friend better than he treats me..or hed rather chill with them then me..are any of u guys goin throu the same thing as me?

Why do you clean his room? If it was my brother, I would let him clean it himself. =P
Well, I'm not in the same situation as you. My older brother and I aren't close. I wish we were so I'll have someone to look up to, but he's not a family person and he's not really the type of person who likes to talk. |

i look up to both my brother and sister..my sister is 30 and ny brother is 27..then theres me at 18..i learn from their mistakes and i know i can talk to them about anything..i usually go to my sister with girl problems of course, and i also ask her stuff like "how long do i hide my belly button ring from mom" and "how do i convince mom to let me stay in San Diego for more than 3 days" haha..i ask my brother about guy problems and we always just talk and chill..we go to movies and stuff together..it was so gross..someone thought we were dating..cos we went out to eat at like wendy`s or something and i was paying and the guy was like "you should pay for your date" and my brother was like EW GROSS!! THIS IS MY SISTER!! haha it was funnie..

wowww. my brother is 6 years older than me but we're not close at all. we dont ever chill together or anything, and hes not always home. but my sis is 8 yrs older than me and we chill but now she got a baby so we dont either. try hangin out wit friends instead...

Get a boyfriend. That way you have someone else to do all those things for and it will be appricieated. If I had an older sibling I don't think I'd do a thing for them lol.
I wonder if my lil brother will feel that way about me, I'm 7yrs older than him .. oh well. |

im jst like you.
i clean his room, cook for him, hed rather hang with his friends, etc. except for two thing. he`d bring me with his friends to hang if i asked him to. he`d sacrifice his friends for me. i know that doesnt help much, but its okay. i mean all siblings would rather hang with their friends. he`ll soon realize family is more important than friends, no doubt. i mean, took my bro 17 effing years to realize it. hang in there (: plus, i look up to my bro & sis like crasy. they are frckn` perfectionists >:[ |

I mean, what if when he goes to college (if he already isn't) or when he moves out and gets his own family. I mean, sure, your brother is still your brother, but I would rather hang out with my friends than my family. |

Me and my two older brothers make as little contact with each other as possible. It's been like that since forever.
 But I don't see what's wrong with wanting to hang out with your friends rather than your kid brother/sister, that's pretty much 'normal'.

i guess this would only apply to sum1 whose as close to their siblings as me n my brother are... but i dunno i jus feel hurt sumtimes when he would do sumthin for his friend with no questions asked but when i ask him for sumthing he wont do it..i mean i do everything for him.. i would like that in return..but i do everything for everyone and never get the same in return so i guess i should be use to it

its the opposite for me, my sis and I HATED eachother, then she turned 18 and now we hang out whenever we can, been over a year and we still do, shes less my sis but more a friend now (we're also a 6 year diff)

my bro is 4 years older than me and he is freaking the shitznit. i help him do his hw because im better than him in englsih for some weird reason but hes like a genius and math and hes a track stud hahaha... got a scholarship for it into college. i talk to him as much as possible...
hes kinda moody when he wakes up and some toher times but thast it... i know when to cross the line and joke but sometimes i mess up and i get damn near to an ass-whooping hahha...but those are the things that make the funny stories you tell around the campfire... you know? |

i have a older brother who is older den me by 6 yrs. my older sister by 4 yrs. it sucks but its a advantage for me b ecause i dont have to do dat much chores like my sister. my brother gets to have anything he wants. =/ spoiled ! but anywaise lets get to the topic, im pretty close. im close to both of dem. and we talk and stuff ... .my brother wants to hang out wit me, but i never want to go out with him.

nope not at all really. i have a cousin who i look up to and his friend. they are like my brothers. they protect me more. I then have a "play" brother at school. He protects me there. I love him dearly. my sister is 7 years older and brother is 3. so we are not close at all

my brother is two years older than me and I think we have a greater relationship than ever, now that he is in college. I have realized how much he means to me and how much I miss him. We constantly talk and hang out when he comes and visits over the weekend and have gotten much closer than before. Our relationship is stronger now.

yeah, my older sister and i are really close. we are only like 3 years apart so that help our relationship. but we aren't like together 24/7. she hangs out with her friends while i hang out with my friends and while we are at home, we just chill there.
 i am going to be so sad whenever she leaves for college!

Well i was really close with my brother, hes just turned 16 but then he had a girlfriend and he totally ignored me. Which kinda annoyed me cause she is really horrible and annoying. My sister Frankie said that he is planning to end with her because she has been cheating on him
 , i will kill her for that lol. I'm close to my sisters in a different way, we share stuff and go shopping but when i hang around with my bro, we usually just talk about normal stuff and we go to theme parks and stuff lol.

I have an older brother too. He is 29 and I am 15 so we don't really see each other much. We live in two different states. Just two days ago he got married . At first I was afraid that he would forget about me once he had a family of his own to love. After all I'm only his half sister. Anyway, at the reception I got the chance to talk to him and dance with him a little. I guess even if we don't often see each other he'll always love me and I'll always love him. Because most of your high school frieds will come and go but you will always know your family. I know that I'm going to know my brother until the day that I die and that leaves plenty of time to get to know him better.

awwww... you're so nice... my sisters are the same way to me... well, they even clean my room sometimes too... i honestly don't have the slightest idea how to clean their rooms... they have so much stuff that i don't have, and i dont know what to do with it all. oh well, how old are you guys... if you're young, don't worry about it. Friends eventually go away and family is always there. If you are older and he's doing this... talk to him and tell him you want to hang out with him or ask him if he wants to goto the movies or something.
