Don't wash your face a lot. That just adds to it. Um, well, normally I do, so, like try not to touch your face too much, and only wash your face like, when you have to (like in the shower) I have St Ives Aporcot (sp) Scrub, and I use it in the shower, and it seems to help.. But I only wash my face once a day.

ok. I have the same problem too. Wash your face twice a day at most with face wash, not soap or anything. Use a light moisturizer, and if you're at school, use clean and clear oil sheets which dab off oil easily without having to put on loads of makeup.

actually, it's suggested not to wash your face often, because that will dry out your skin, and your face will just produce even more oil.
Rice paper sheets work. You can get them at any store. you just pat them on your face, and it absorbs the oil... wala!

don't wash your face too much since that will dry it out.
use oil-free lotion when your skin is dry.
and oil absorbing sheets are good too.

Honestly, just wash your face when before you go to sleep; As everyone has already stated, you can dry out your skin, cause irritation, and allow for more pores to become oily, and cause more breakouts.

Your best bet is to just use the oil papers throughout the day.
I have fairly oily skin, and that's what I do.
It'll clean up your face for the most part, even if it's just that particular moment.

mine gets oily too. when u wake up, obviously wash it. but when ur in the shower, take like a regular bar of soap and get some on ur hand then put it on ur face then rise. do this 3 times. i do that and my face isnt oily for the rest of the day. and if u dont need foundation, dont use it. it makes it even more oiler. and wash it before u go to sleep if u need to.

dun wash ur face more than 3 times a day!!! it would make ur skin weaker and much much worse....
u shud find out da reason behind making ur face oily.....
it can be dat ur face lacks hydration cuz if ur face is not hydrated enuf, it would secrete more oil.... and dun use blotting papers too often...(not more than 3 sheets a day) cuz if too much oil is removed, ur face have even much more oil than usual.......
i think lancome pure focus is good for oil-controlling.... i've tried several brands and so far i found it best.....

try using an oil-controlling astringent, like neutrogena after you use a cleanser, and an oil-controlling scrub. make sure they all have salicylic acid in them. I recommend Aveeno Clear something cleanser (its a mint green and whitish bottle), and Neutrogena Deep Clean gentle scrub (oil free).

eh, please..dont do that.
over washing your face will lead to dryness. trust me, it hurts and feels really tight. you only need to wash your face with a facial cleanser once every time you wash. just because your skin still feels oily, you dont need to repeat. do it in the morning, right after school and before you go to bed. dont use lotion, it makes it oilier.

if you do try to use lemon dont use it in the daylight because lemon asorbs light which makes ur skin dark and dry ! so use it at night and remember to wash it off you dont want to over dry your skin (: also you can buy clay mask use it 3 times a week it absorb the oil and strip off inpurities

i use the Dove Cool Moisture Foaming Facial Cleanser, which is for dry to normal skin. my skin is sort of oily, but that stuff is really good and makes your skin feel smooth and slightly drier.

Hi there! Kinda new on this site. Ayway, I am using Nu skin's Cleansing Gel and mattefying toner. I my self has an oily face and thank goodness, this product has minimized the excessive production of oil on my face. It could also help if you are gong to use the glacial marine mud which absors the oil on your face and some impurities. If you are interested, you might want to check out the site at nuskin.com and if you want to purchase the product online, you can actually use my id number. I'll be glad to help you :) thumbsup.gif

i use AcneFree instead of Proactive but its like basically the same thing. except, since acnefree is a benzoyl-peroxide cleanser, i use it at night. and in the morning i use Olay's daily facials for oily/combination skin because its a salicylic acid and you should use that in the morning. after using the olay daily facials in the morning, i use the acnefree toner. i use the toner both in the morning at at night. in toning in the morning, i put on Olay's Complete All Day UV Moisture Lotion for combination/oily skin. at night, after the toning, i put on Biore's shine control moisturizer. and then i go to sleep! :) i hope this helps in some way!

what brand of toner do you use? is it from Olay's too? Does it contain alcohol? if you want to know, I suffest you try putting a very small amount on a glass bowl lit it up. If there's a flame, be careful because it can be harmful to your skin. :)
