I think I'm probably haivng my period except there's hardly any blood! I'm due for my period and everything so that must be what it is, but you would not beleive how little blood there is.

it's really annoying because I ahve to decide wehter to put in a tampon or not cause if I do, I mean some blood comes out, but I can also not and wipe everytime I Go to the bathroom and I only ghet my panties a lil dirty...

...so jsut wondering, has anyone ever had a period like this before? I sure havn't. all my other oens have had a large flow of blood for the first three days than start getting less and less till about 3 days later, it ends all together. This one just started out really relaly small, and no cramps or anything, it's really weird.

Anyone else had this happen? or maybe it's not a period, than what is it? huh.gif

That is normal. Sometimes your flow will change. I'd use a pantiliner if I were you.
Don't use a tampon if you barely have any flow, it can increase the risk of getting Toxic shock syndrome. If you really want to use a tampon then use a lites junior because it has less absorbency.

dont worry its normal. sometimes throughout your period, the amount like coming out will chnage. so it may get heavier later. just use a light pad, or panty liner or somthuing

for me, the first day is such a light flow. then it gets more and more every day, then less and less, and then it ends. but i think you should wear a tampon/pad, just incase all of a sudden your flow goes huge and you're in need of one. =\

but its normal.

thin panty liners should do the trick, don't use a tampon for every little leak. could lead to tss

tss comes from wearing tampons that are higher absorbancy than you need for extended periods of time.. there are warnings all over the boxes and stuff

TSS only occurs if you leave it in too long and you get a bacteria infection. If you're just starting, a slow flow is normal. It's prolly more convenient that way anyways.

if your really worried get it checked out by some specialist. sometimes it normal since ur flow might change. but im not sure if its all that normal when u had ur period before. i remember my period being like that when i first got it.. but now that never happens.

and if its been only half a year thats actually not a long time, considering thats only 6 months= 6 periods.
