I sort of have trouble keepin myself away from food..I've noticed I've got a little bit fatter, what can i do??

if you cant stop eating..then eat something healthy..or excercise a whole heck of a lot..haha instead of junk food eat fruit/ yogurt instead of watching tv or going online..run ...aha nothing new ....

eat more 3 healthy meals a day and healthy snacks in between...allow yourself to have something if you really want it, but cut back on other stuff that day...thats working for me, i lost 7-8 pounds in about 4 weeks...excersing more will bring better results...

not eating is not going to do anything! if you don't eat, it makes your stomach bigger. control yourself. if you can't, then eat only fat-free and healthy foods.

try to stop yourself from eating way to much... have a limite on how much food you should eat for a day... if you still get a craving then try to do other things then eating.

Eat foots that are filling, so you'll feel full, even if you truly aren't. Eat stuff like vegetables and fruits for snacks. Try to substitute foods..

And if you can, try to take some of those pills that will help spee dup yoru metabolism.

Okay well that is how I used to be in the 6th grade b4 middle started and I notice that I was fat to...well I realized I did that bcuz I came home to a boring house and thats all I could do soOo I reccomend you take up a sport soOo that you have an after skool activity to do and then yu can eat as much as you want and you'll burn it off later...hope that helps...*muwahs*

You know when you starve yourself and then you eat a little amount of food it makes it worst... Since the body thinks your gonna not eat in a long time again it'll save every calorie it can... Plus you can get ulcers and get tired more easy... Just figure out a good diet... Not the diet as in not eating...

I had the same problem, so I know what it feels like. Sometimes when you get bored you think, Oh I'll just eat something. I usually go up to my friends house when that happens ^^ Or get online and completly lose track of time. Don't think about food unless your really hungry.

Try walking..

Thats what I'm doing..

And yeah try to think of healther things to eat.

here what worked for me. I lost about 25 pounds on this technique. if you have a habit of over snacking, try planning out a food plan the night before. give yourself plenty of leeway, but try to stick to it as closely as possible. then build up a rewards system. So if all week you stuck to your plan, give yourself a treat on sunday. Ice cream, or whatever it is you may crave. The best thing is not to deprive yourself, because this only makes you crave it more, and you tend to give in faster. So yeah, thats my advice. good luck!

i had the same prblem a while ago. dont listen to the freakos who tell u to "not eat". thats just stupid.
try to limit urself GRADUALLY. first week: stop eating that extra cookie (or whatever) u buy at lunch at school. second week: do 20 crunches a day. third week: 30 jumpingjacks a day.
check ur weight and reward urself every time u loose 3 pounds (going to c a movie? a new hat? w/e)

hmMms . how old are you ? since now if your in your teen years ; its normal to eat ALOT more . food is good ^^. try to eat fruits like oranges and if you eat sandwichs . try to add lettuce & cheese. good like _smile.gif

here's a way to take away your apitite:

soround yourself with healthy stuff.

lol, not joking, that's what my mom does. our whole hosue is filllid with this healthy food....and like I wanted a escond lunch a litlte whiel ago, and I Went up stairs to eat, but as soon as I caught site of the tofu (barfe) fors some reason my apetite went away.

and I'm not meaning this to be really funny either, it really does work! and it's not like you'll end up starving yourself or anythign, when you are ACTUALLY hungry and not jsut wanting to eat for the heck of it those health foods will apeal...and while you are gorging you're always gorgiong on healthy food!!! so even if you STILLL can't stop from eating all the time, at LEAST you are ewating someitnhg healthy!!

Same here.. I'm like food obssessed. It helps me to chew gum - it makes some of my cravings go away. Also, its not bad to eat alot, just as long as you keep to junk food to a minimum and exercise everyday. Hope that helps.

you have to enforce limits on yourself..start making a list of things to eat everyday, a healthy list, that way you have a plan of food to eat for the day and won't go over...and excersizeeeee

OMGOSH!! this past like 2 weeks i`ve been doing nothing BUT eating..i was about to go to my doctor and ask if there was something wrong with me..haha..i seriously eat allllllllll day long! I think its just hormones or something tho..i dont think anything is wrong..just go work out and stuff..thats what i do and i`ve maintained a nice figure even tho i eat CONSTANTLY..but my weight fluctuates too..i gain some, lose some, break even..whatever..

just do a lot of weight-lifting. eating is good, but dont eat too much. if you think you're hungry again after eating so much food, play a game that can be so addictive. it can take your mind off from eating more food.

I heard that drinking a lot of water will help you feel fuller when you're really craving food. Maybe you should try eating less amounts of food more times a day. That way, you're not so hungry all the time, yet you still eat enough to satisfy

Set a goal..keep reminding yourself..Repeat things like "Stop eating." over and over..Also put pictures up all over the place for inluence, like pics of when you were slimmer, or pics of the models with slimming bodies..These hanbit are definitely too hard ot overcome. But definitely eat healthier and workout daily.

I love food! i think i can speek 4 most girls wen i say we all go through that stage of eating allot its proberbly because you are gowing!
Dont wory but to stop you gaining weight try something less fatty You know what i realy like when i am feeling hungery at the wrong time is a fruit mix! they r nice and jucie and make me feel less hungery! (plus it does wonders for your skin!!!)

but anywho yea i eat a lot too but i excercise hecka lot. i guess just eat more healthy. i stop eating junk food and i lost 5 pounds =D haha~ dont worry ppl i still eat ^^ and like in between commercials do 10 sit ups or 15 jumping jacks. and i always tend to do 100 sits ups and 50 push ups before i sleep. it helps you sleep easier and it actually SHOWS results =)

OH YES. That's exactly how I am also. Whenever I'm bored, all I think of is food. And I end up eating a lot of food because I'm always like "Oh, it's ok because I'll burn it off later." Hmph. But then I've been exercising so the best advice I can give you is to either exercise, or to stay away from all the junk food. It's ok to snack, but just don't get carried away like I do.

urgh me too. i eat when i'm bored and confused and when i'm stressed or happy or mad or sad...just do something. if i'm occupied then i can normally keep myself from eating happy.gif

what i would do is stick notes on the food bag like ch ips for instance or everytime you have the urge to eat and you don't need to eat at that moment go penalize yourself like run on a treadmill, do homework etc. _unsure.gif hope that helps
