Alright, so i just found out my mom has mixed bipolar or something of that sort... and that i most highly have it as well and it does make complete sense... & not just that but my mom had a complete mental break down and was in the hospital psych ward for a week... and yea...

So, i'm asking anyone out there how you coop with loved ones with bipolar or if you have it and whats youve done or if you have friends or anything... or anything similar...

Im not that upset im just seeing somethings and wondering about stuff.

hey listen i'm so sorry to hear that =/
for your mom, i hope she's getting treatment, physchiatrists or intensive therapy should help.. and "mood stabalizers" but make sure not to get addicted or anything..

as for you, how bad is it? have you gone through any bad symptoms? let me know and ill see what i have better to say for advice cuz im not sure how bad it is for ya so im not sure of wat to say =( please lemme know details of wat ur going through, i'd love to help.

to cope with your mom going through this bad state, just be there for her always and tell her everything will be ok and stuff, dont panic and worry her in any way cuz it'll freak her out.. jus stay strong ok?

Well my sister is bipolar , i think , she's told me that 1 or 2 times , but im not sure my memory is blah right now. Iono my sister goes to therapy a week or every 2 weeks.....

My sisters fine now, she use to be such a emotional time bomb ><; . She's as normal as u can be except shes kind of secretive about somethings but who isnt haha....

My parents dont have it i think, but i know the feeling of your parents life being threatened.

My mom has cervix cancer and shes getting treated and gonna have surgery one of these days when the times right. And she is in good health and eats right+exercise so shes fighting it . Which gives me hope.

My dad smokes , so his lungs are kinda f**ked up, he doesnt have cancer but he has this bacteria, it makes u cough hard and sometimes spit up blood . If it doesnt kill u in 20 years its highly treatable, and my dads a fighter too so eh.

Knowing all this just gives me a clear view on my family and shows me how strong they are. Facing the reality of knowing my parents mite not be around as long as i think they would just motivates me to do well in school, go to college, and find a stable career and life b4 its too late :O . As for coping, i try not to think about it as much but i do appreciate my parents alot more than i'de use to .

Just have hope and faith. And make sure ur mom and you if you need to,get the right treatment and stay on the treatment until it gets treated =]
