How do you guys feel about badminton?
I'm trying out for the badminton team and today we had our final cut. The results for the team will be posted tomorrow and I'm really.. apprehensive >_> Do you guys think badminton is a fun sport? Or one that would get you in shape? Is it easy, is it hard? What are your thoughts on this? This is the first sport I'm trying out for.. |

I love badminton, probably because it's not that hard. It's fun, at least to me, because I'm okay at it. Most people I know do pretty well with badminton. It's a good way to get exercise without killing yourself =]

I love badminton, also. I got champion in my PE class. Haha, not a big deal tho it's just P.E. I saw vids of guys/grls who have hekkuh fast reflexes. It's scary!
It's a great sport, it should be more acknoledged in America ^_^ You can totally get in shape w/ Badminton. All that scissor kicking. |

wow, I <3 badminton, it is too much fun! yeah, I think it's pretty good exercise, maybe not as much as some other sports, but still.. aw, I bet you made the team=)

ah, the badminton team!! good luck! That's gotta be one of my fav. sports. =] although that birdy sometimes gets on my nerves when it won't freaking go over the net....
It gives me a great workout! especially one-on-one. To me, it's pretty easy depending on how many people are playing; it can get a little challenging with less players. |

It's one of the only activities that I actually enjoy doing in gym class.

Badminton is one of my favorite sports! It is very easy if you get used to it. Just relax when playing and enjoy. That way you can play easily. :satisfied:

Badminton is fun. In PE for me i have this crazy PE teacher that goes crazy if u miss. and she and everyone thats good at it practically dives to it when it come to you. it really fun. im actually really good at playing it. piece of advice never play against the ones that have super fast reflexes and hits really hard and goes about 90 mph thats zooms pass ur ear and you wouldnt even see it unless you have fast reflexes. find someone thats about ur level and a little higher that way it gives u a challenge.

 i know it!--- i have only played badminton a few times in my whole life! only like 2 times!  it seems fun, though. hey, if you get good enough, you might make it to the olympics!  i like badminton but tennis my thannnng!

It's realli fun, and can be quite intense. I just hate it when people start mocking it as an "easy" sport or something. >>. What position (singles/doubles/mixed) does everyone play? I'm Varsity 1 boys doubles on our school team

I played badminton when I was younger against my grandpa. I always lost
It's funny that you mention it though because we're playing badminton right now in PE. I was surprised at how good I was at it today. It's really fun, unless you suck at it. |

i LOVE badminton. i play on our school's varsity team and it's really freaking tiring. today, we had to run a mile, have practice, and then do suicides at the end. i guess it's a lot different in the states where they think of badminton as a backyard sport, whereas where i live, everyone on the varsity team basically has to have their own private coach to get good enough to get in.

I <3 badmitton!!! It's SOOO fun! But I've only ever played in gym class and our school doesn't have a badmitton team, so I don't know what 'competitive' badmitn is like. But from wut I've played, I think it's a great sport and if it's a school team, u'll get in shape. It's a lot like tennis only.... not LoL. I think it's a lot of sprinting, especially for singles and it probably requires a lot of upper body strength. But yeah it's an awesum sport and i hope u make it!

i'm a badminton freak. i 'm on the team. most people dont respect this sport. they say its all easy because they play it in PE or w/e with other weak players. but if you play against a good badminton player, its very diffulcult. and i love prooving people who diss badminton and play them and smash the damn birdie in their face.
