hey i'm soo curious if any of you have been with your girlfriend/boyfriend since highschool or somethin and are still together after so many years, even through college or after?
i've been with my boyfriend since 2years ago and in a few months he's going to enter college soon and i'll be following on in less than a year myself! =) i'm just wondering wat its like to go through all those years together? im not doubting that we'll fade apart after everything we've been through, we're in so much love! its just i wanna know how much of this happens? even if u know someone else whose gone through it.. i see it on tv all the time but how bout in reality.. is it usual n everything? wats it like? |

My boyfriend and I got together October of our freshmen year and we're still together now. I really think we could last for years and years if there weren't some uncontrollable outside forces (read: parents) trying to have their say. My parents were on and off highschool sweethearts and they broke up for awhile when my mom was in college. My mom had me when she was 25 and they were married when I was 12. I'm optimistic about highschool couples because of my parents lol

Hey, who knows what the future might bring?
 It's been 2 years and 3 months since my boyfriend and I got together (Freshman year). My boyfriend's half-brother was married to his highschool sweetheart, but they divorced and yea. I hope I don't end up like them.  My half-sister is STILL engaged to her highschool sweetheart and it's been like what..7 years?!?!? They've been dating since freshman year in high school! And she's 32 right now! 17 years! That's like.. almost half their life so far! lol I truly think it could work.. I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with my boyfriend and I'll work hard to achieve that goal.. :] Good luck with you and your boyfriend, cewinee! |

Many of my friends have been together for like 3 years or more since high school and I was the only one that dated different girls but, oh well I guess in some sort of way I was jealous and wished that I had the same type of thing then I realize, at least I know how its like to date around.

my husband and i started dating our junior year of high school. he joined the army and i went off to college. for some strange twisted reason we ended up 45 min. from each other and we were able to continue our relationship. i know that if it weren't for that coincidence we wouldn't be together today. we had our obvious ups and downs. i mean c'mon, military guys are crazy and meet tons of girls and being in college is like being a kid in a candy store--but we stuck through it. we've been together for about 8 years now, and i'm only 23. we got married after dating for 5 years. all i'm saying is that if it's meant to be, it'll happen. don't focus too much on what will be, rather live it day by day. college is demanding. have fun.

well me n my boyfriend met in high school and dated about 2 months after he graduated and have been off and on for about 2 years since then...but u wanna hear a happy story? My aunt cindy grew up across the street from my uncle bobby. they went to school together, but only a year cuz hes 3 years older than her. they got married out of high school and are still together. They have a daughter and have been married for over 20 years, but their relationship dated back about 30. aww. Isnt that sweet?!
 I love my aunt cindy and my uncle bobby. :D

Ohh I WISH me and my boyfriend would be together forever, usually it doesnt happen;
but if you two were truly meant for each other then you will! My b/f shuai is graduating this year, and i'm graduating next year. Sometimes i get sad because we're not in the same grade, and we dont have any classes together, but in a way its good, because if you be with someone too much, you will probably get tired of them (i know i might!!!)...lol, sry for the off-topic paragraph!  In high school, kids arn't mature yet, so its soo hard to stay with a relationship, you know wat im sayin? My longest was 3 months  And my DREAM was to stay with one guy for over a year. I'm trying to fulfill that now. I want to be with my boyfriend forever. (Haha, i even tell my friends that if i even THINK about breaking up with him to HIT ME REALLY HARD!!!! lol ) So just think to yourself if you want to stay with him "Is this my Mr. Right?" I do that EVERY TIME I go into a relationship, and then realize "hey, what the hell am i dating this guy for??? Sure hes cute and sweet, but theres soo many personal qualities I don't like about him."I hope I helped!

been with my boyfriend since christmas of soph yr. im now out of highschool n nineteen years old. we're still in love n i hope that we end up marrying each other. we both want to be together in the end. u have more responsibilities and u have so many decisions to make...like whether u should move in together or wait. if u should help him with bills or if he should help u...u know...stuff like that. u get to take care of each other more than u use to...it's nice tho. i like it. i love helping him out.
but u know thats kinda funny cuz my boyfriend was in the military too. he was only in training tho and he got so lucky n was able to get permanent leave. but during that time was crazy cuz bfore and during his military training we had our share of a lot of ups and downs. mostly downs. n we're still together. i was always worried that he would cheat on me but he didnt thankfully but then he never went to war. |

Well, right now I am a sophmore in High School, but I've been with my boyfriend for a little over a year and a half now. We love eachother very much, and we feel as if we will make it through High School together. We talk about moving in with eachother after graduation. I know we can make it.

my sister and her boyfriend started dating when she was in 10th grade and he was a senior. she's now in her second year of college and they're engaged and half of their relationship has been long-distance. he's working on airplanes down in georgia and she's finishing pharmacy school up in pennsylvania. it's hard on them but she flies down to see him like once a month and they talk every night.
my parents met when they were like in their mid-twenties. they dated for 3 weeks and then were engaged for 3 months. they've been married for 24 years. just addin in a lil story of my own. i think it'd be cool to have a high school sweetheart but no guys in my school are really, "my type" |

My grandparents are high-school sweethearts, but they didn't stay together. They got married after meeting again at a high school reunion about four years ago. If you couldn't tell, he isn't my biological grandfather, but my grandmother's husband. Still cool though.

I had several relationships throughout my highschool years.
half of my sophomore year to Matt, the other half to Nick. Junior year I was single; didn't care, mingled alot. Almost all of my senior year I dated this guy Stefan, whom is now one of my best friends. Currently dating the love of my live, Chris. mm. |

My aunt and uncle were highschool sweethearts. They met in 10th grade..dated through high school and college, and after 35 yrs. they are still together, and they are so much in love. Same thing with my grandparents...they met at 16, married at 18 and have been together for like 50 years. So it is possible to forever be with your highschool sweetheart

I was going to say that I didn't know anybody that's been together since teenage years.. but then I thought about how my grandma got married to my grandpa when she was 15 and he was 18. That was back then though, they always fight but I know they love eachother. They're like.. 81.. something.. years old now. That's like almost 70 years! Craaaaaaaazy.

I'm still in high school, but I bet we will. We already have a few partial scholarships and stuff for the same college. It's only 40 min. away! Anyway, one year on March 23rd. I love him so much.<3
My English teacher has been with her husband since she was 14. She's 28 now. I think that's awesome. |
