Nono.. I don't mean actual musicians who have a smidgeon of talent. I mean like... kids at home. Writing crap songs and pretending like they're some artist for it..... it just gets to me.

yeah, it gets pretty annoying. I only know a few chords on the guitar, but I don't consider myself "emo" or even a guitarist.

i dont really think anything is considered emo. the only reason we claim bands like senses fail and hawthorne heights are "emo" are becuase they're lyrics talk about slitting wrists, cutting and stuff like that. True "emo" bands like the get up kids didnt really express that. and how would you consider one emo, emotional? I bet we all get emotional and sensative at times, does that make us emo?


playing guitar dont mean your "emo" man.

Uhm, I've never met someone that considered themselves "emo" because they played the guitar.
I play the guitar, and I don't call myself "emo." Yeah, I get emotional sometimes. But who doesn't? Everyone has feelings. Some people just don't show it as much.

I'm really getting tired of all the labels.

My sister doesn't play her guitar so she can sound like an emo person haha.. she just wants to play it so she can be in our church praise band hehe ^__^;;;;; but it's kinda annoying to hear it... i rather hear from the professionals instead of my sister's... but don't worry, jenny... you're very good, but need to work on some more hehe like lylian says uh hum... ehhehe jjkjk

Yer every 1 starts off with a baby band and they finaly drift into more underground music well thts what i did! my baby band was
FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND then i listened to more and more and i end up wher i am punk and hardcore!!!! I suppose every one needs a way in!!!!

But what does me in is wher the fake emo kids think they are hard by listening to the music and act all differnt! and then strut around with all ther corperate gear on thinking they are something great by listening to "differnt music" to every 1 elce.

Yeah, I as well.. I know like 4 and can only play one half decent HA! lol

But, I dont consider myself a guitarist.. I mostly just tell people when they ask if I know how that Im in the prosess of learning.
