i think i'm wide awake is a little more serious and genius, while digital ash is more fun and such. reminds me of death cab vs. postal service. as for which one i like better, i really can't choose, but at the moment i'm leaning towards digital ash. fevers and mirrors still owns both of them though.

edit: OH, i forgot to mention, since i missed the wide awake tour stop he made in berkeley this month, i talked to my mom and she's letting me go see him when he comes back with the digital ash tour. I'M SO EXCITED!

I agree 100%. Fevers and Mirrors is my favorite.

I think that I like I'm Wide Awake better but only cause it sounds more like it would come from Conor? I don't know. it's weird. I still think I have to get use to Digital Ash. I think I Believe In Symmetry is ingenious though and easy/lucky/free & OH! this is so bad.

..But I'm Wide Awake has my favorite Bright Eyes song, Lua on it.

I don't know, they're both wonderful.

&& I'm so excited for his next tour with THE FAINT it's gonna be awesome.

i agree entirely. but also, i think that im wide awake is a bit too countryesque for me, and im not even all that fond of lua, actually. good song, but when considering the rest of bright eyes music, is not that great

mellow.gif i bought fevers and mirrors there NINE months ago. best buy definitely has the best music selection around here. i consider it mainstream if it hits target also.

i've only been to best buy twice but yeah, they have a lot more... less mainstream stuff than circuit city or target.

...and that's CRAZY! i only buy my cds at barnes and noble too. everyone always laughs at me when i say that, but they definitely have the best selection of cds ANYWHERE. plus, we have a 10% discount on everything we get, and the free shipping is nice too so... yeah. i love barnes and noble.

and to make this post relevant, has anyone seen the video for lua? i heard it was super retarded on the saddle creek web board.
