Okeedokee heres what to do you can apply visine tear drops if you have them, if not you can zap it overnight by putting toothpaste on it I also have found that a mixture of olive oil and salt works very well. Make a paste and wash with it. Use this daily at first, and then maintain with 2 or 3 times weekly. biggrin.gif

Uhh..
Buy Clearisil Acne Wash and get some prescription acne medication.

Vaseline takes the redness out, too.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT cover them with foundation. You will only get MORE acne. Just wash your face with a good cleanser. I use Shiseido Pureness Deep Cleanser and I haven't developed acne for...a long time. It's a bit expensive though. Also make sure you exfoliate every other day and use a mask _smile.gif Using a cleanser is not enough.

I've heard of that thing! I heard it works well too. It proably uses salicylic acid (a common acne treatment... don't freak out, because it's in most acne meds) to clear it up. Kills bacteria.

To answer the thread's main question... I think I'd use the topical medication to get rid of it, and then use a cover-up that also gets rid of the spot. Two-in-one stuff rocks!

You can try these on the spot acne dots. They work for larger pimples, than little blackheads or whatever. It's perfect for the day before picture day or a date because it makes it smaller over night, and then the next day you can cover it up with concealer.

Those work great!! worthy.gif

Other than that I use Dove facial cleanser, Dove facial pads, and Dove cleansing cloths. (Yeah I love Dove!) Dove is so awesome, if you start washing your face with these products for about 2 days, your skin clears up! Also try using Saint Ives Apricot Scrub. That works as well! biggrin.gif

mm...my doctor gave me some thing called umm..difrent? or something like that. then i started using proactiv...that stuff is awesome! =) but you gotta also understand...pimples come and go. it's hormones that cause them...DO NOT USE MAKE UP TO COVER IT UP. gosh..this girl at school said it "helps" them go away..haha NO THEY DON'T! o welps. go to a dermatologist (sp?) and they can help you by giving you something right for YOUR skin. since i have sensitive skin i use special stuff..

do NOT use:
-proactiv: only works for a week somtimes, then it doesnt. plus it's expensive
-neutrogena: actually, this really depends on your skin. sometimes, it works well on people, other times, it makes your skin worse. for me? it made it worse.
-biore: im trying this one out tomorrow
-soap: dries your skin a lot, i dont recommend it

wash your face, but don't scrub
and dont even think about TOUCHING your face :P
