Futures Options

This is something that I did randomly one day. It is OK..I guess

Futures

I sometimes walk looking at my feet.
Avoiding people’s eyes.
Heading straight forward,
Never looking back into the darkness.

I often wish I could change the past.
The past that made me give up what I loved the most.
The past that made me be this sad person.
Sneaking outside just for a moment to myself.

This future, a future that seems to be fixed on the burdens I bear.
Heavy weight I cannot seem to shake.

Things must change.
I walk faster and my head is up.
They show me their smiling faces, but all I see is their eyes.
Their eyes which judge me.

Every time I turn around for a moment.
I have never felt so alone.
Alienated from the world and it’s worries.

Staring out the window,
I finally see the light.
The little bright light in the corner
The only thing I see.

meh, poetry is not my area of expertise at all, but i like it.. it captures adolescence very well.

I like the change of pace. Usually I don't really because more often than not its not pulled off very well, but somehow this one seems to flow well into each other. Good job, keep it up ^_^

very nice indeed. pace is unpredictable..i like it cause it all fits
