you need to get alienware and a good videocard. it's true that the aliens preform better and faster than normal desktops and notebooks. personally, i like the sentia extreme. beware, these are very expensive. the cheapest desktop system is the area-51 preformance for one thousand, five hundred and seventy seven dollars. the aurora is slightly more expensive, one thousand, five hundred and eighty dollars for the preformance model. i suggest a light notebook if you're planning on buying one.

Well the desktops are obviously cheaper than the laptops. The probably the alienware desktop that has EVERYTHING great on it is about what.. 3000? just think what an ultimate alienware laptop would cost! wacko.gif Dunno how ppl save up for those lol, especially young ppl. lol

actually, alienware supports custom building computers, don't they? You can pick what parts you WANT and then they build it foryou, unless you really want to spend MORE time building it. Alienware supplies very high-quality, top-brand computer parts. *drools* happy.gif

yeah alienwre's are kool, but I'd rather get the pc instead of the laptop, you can cutomize the desktops more, plus you can get those kool cases with neon lights and everything. The laptop is kool, but I'd just get a gateway or dell laptop. I dont gamer on laptops anyway, I just use photoshop and 3dstudio max on them. Desktops are better for gaming.

AlienWare

Pros:
1. Very compatible system (all the cards and components work very well together)
2. Extremely cool cases cool.gif
3. Good for Gamers or people perfering good graphics, mobile or lag-less internet, and portable

Cons:
1. Prices .. OVER THE ROOF!
2. Customer Service -- not that good

My Suggestion:: Get someone you know to build you one.
Reason :: A self built computer, with the same or even better components will cost 25%~50% less than an alienware

Really depends on your needs, and your budget
