if you think the evo8 is great wait til the end of this year the new evo9 should be release. all the goodies of the evo8 MR come standard. HP is bumped up past 300 around 315 - 325 the evo9 looks better then the 8 my main reason for not liking it is the ugly front bumper now its gone has a diferent wing the front fascia has change new back lights looks pretty coolcant wait for it to come out

Lol I was thinking of putting a evo engine in a Tl... To make up for the craptacular 0-60 and torque on it...

does now. put so much money into this car its not even funny. looking back this car was kind of slow when bone stock. now it sounds hella lot deeper, goes 0-60 2 seconds faster and gets better gas mileage. now its gonna look even better come thursday when my body kit is installed

Your still htting 0-60 in the good 10s... While Evo can hit it in the good 4-5... By the time you hit 60 and your torque kicks in evo will be ahead by a good 10 car lengths

Horsepower 251.00 BHP @ 5600.00 RPM
Torque 260.00 Ft-lbs @ 4400.00 RPM<aurora Can you say not even close?

276.00 BHP @ 6500.00 RPM
286.00 Ft-lbs @ 3500.00 RPM< Evo
Dont get mad when a stock evo blows past your car... We will see who owns who then

Thats a stock aurora you dumb shiyat. Mine pulled the dynojet several times to get a good run at 275bhp and 288 lb-ft of torque. I waited for it to cool with the hood up beofre doing the good run..... Theres also so much more torque because i gutted my airbox and went with a 2 and a quarter inch stainless steel y-pipe.

I'd rather have mine as a cruiser/sleeper now........not drive it 60mph through town like these kids do with their ricer Honda's with them big ass gay looking spoilers and weird ground effects. I will use the power when i need it. aT first with the kit, im gonna be driving slow.....hehe. Then ill pick it up once it gets noticed and everyone gets used to it.

Oh and ikayto...try outrunning my dads V8 Supercharged & intercooled 400HP Jaguar S-Type R.... lmfao. http://www.sitaliano.com/RRev.wmv

Yeah man the EVO's are looking awesome these days.... Though Im still a loyal WRX STI fan, i wouldnt mind takin an EVO.... On paper things can look better, but you also gotta realize that the driver has alot to do on how well a car performs

ditto drivers gotta be able to handle the car. these people that get chased by the cops in a high speed pursut have fast cars, but they dont know how to control them.

I dunno how to read the evo 9s -.-
Torque 400.00 NM @ 3000.00 RPM
4G63 - MIVEC variable valve timing

The evo wieghs about 3263 lbs
The Aurora wieghs 3960 lbs stock... If you took out seats etc etc.. It still wouldnt be the same as taking seats outta evo... Even if you carbon fibred

i do not compare my car to evo's or other popcorn machines in terms of power/weight ratio as it is irrelevant. i compare my car to other ppl who race their Lexus IS300's (2 of which i have smoked badly), i owned a supercharged Ford F-150, i owned a Lexus SC430, those type of things. One guy in a Civic Si thought his stock VTEC could beat mine so i raced him. Needless to say he had me til 20mph, and once the northstar V8 does its thing over 4500rpm, he sees the side mirrors..... shouldve seen the look on that kids face LMFAO priceless. Then he did a fly-by once i let off like a sore loser.

an evo, even stock would beat my car badly. I think my car looks better than an Evo. Sport Compacts never appealed to me and i am domestic mustang/camaro kinda guy. I wouldve had gotten that 2001 Mustang GT convertible if it wasnt for the dead auto trans.

btw convert that to horsepower and torque in US spec. i dont want to be reading newton meter. thanks
