i dunno what to do.
i liked this guy and he liked me back. we went out for about 2 monthes. then i told him that i didn't really like him as a boyfriend, just as a friend. that was about.. 5 months ago. now we joke about it. then.. there's my best friend. when i was going out with him, she liked him. when i broke up with him, she still had a thing for him. now, the my ex likes her and of course, she likes him. i have no problem with that. but the effin thing that hurts like hck is that my best friend didn't tell me that they are going out. what the f*ck is wrong with that? i had to find this out through.. my EX. right now, i`m pissed, confused, hurt and most of all.. feel betrayed. what the heck am i supposed to do? |

i was in her position before, i went with her ex like 2 months after they broke it off and didn't know whether or not to tell her, but i did it turned out ok. so your best friend was just afraid that you might not agree on both of them getting together, but she still should've told you about it. talk to her about it

I think the solution to anything is talking about it, as stupid as I sound. You can't solve anything unless the other person knows what you're thinking (they're probably not psychic, and they probably won't understand the gravity of how you feel with just hints).

I'd be pissed too, its normal.. She probably didn't want to hurt you, & thought you'd feel uneasy about it. You should confront her, it'll be hard, but dont raise your voice. Be like "Hi .. I found out ____ from ___. Before you say antyhing, hear me out. It really hurt that you didnt tell me first. I've always been there for you, & I'd respect your opinion like you'd respect mine. But now, I'm not sure that you respect me or not. If you respected me & my space, you would have told me first that you were seeing him. well, i would ask her about it. i mean, i understand your position and i think you're right. like, she should have had the balls to tell you. but she was probably only trying to protect you. she probably thought that you'd get angry or upset about it and she didn't want to see you hurt.
so yeah... you should ask about it and understand where she was coming from and don't automaticly blow up at her. |
