I know this doesn't exactly deal with xanga BUT why does certain things appear in firefox and not Internet explorer then some only appear in Internet Explorer and not firefox? i'm confused because my dashed border only shows up in firefox...

It's the designer's ideas.
You can't just make one little change on all the software at once, you'd have to make another program, and then change something in that program, then release another... It's be major chaos. And plus, you can't have everything going your way. |

Most codes are designed to work in IE only. Some of them may work on other browsers too, but mostly it would be messed up.
So if you're using Firefox, I guess the skins here looked messed up on your computer. |

i agree with all three above me. But IE is designed as the over all most compatible.
