I hate periods because it makes me feel dirty (unclean) and it's sick to look at. Fear of leakage would be running up my spine and make me nervous so I'd keep asking my friends if there's anything on my gluteus maximus. The thing is, I don't get cramps, neither do I PMS when I get period, so is that abnormal or something?

i just love it! J/K. no, i don't rly like it bcuz of crampz and having to wear huge pads so i don't bleed through my clothes. it wouldn.t be so bad if my flows weren't as heavy as they are _dry.gif . but o well....who said life was fair? but bigger boobs are a bright side lol.

I don't really have a problem with it. It's not that big of a hassle for me, and if I do get cramps, it's only for a minute at a time for a max of two days. And plus when it does hurt, then I have an excuse to lie there and do nothing, me being the hardworking person that I am. rolleyes.gif

I used to hate it (horrible cramps). But now that I'm on birth control, it's not so bad. My cramps are pretty much gone, it's very light, and it's just a little friendly reminder that I'm not pregnant.

I dont get that. I mean yes, I love being a woman, and I can deal with my monthly monster when its not causing me excruciating pain, but still. Its gross and messy. How could you love it? Oddly enough I've come to love my period.

Mine only lasts three days, and it's very light.
It's been like that for the past two years.

Though as of late I have been having awful backaches when I near my period. I also tend to break out a bit on the face right before I get my period.. And occasionally I'll get some bad cramps--though nothing IBUprofin can control :P

It's only disgusting and gross if you don't take care of yourself properly. Wearing tampons creates less of a mess while you're on your period, and doesn't cause such an uncomfortable time for you. And of course their are pills you can take to ease the pain such as Midol, IBUprofin, etc.

It's not crazy to not mind/love/like having your period.

Honestly, the only way it's really going to stink is if you don't change your pad as often as you should. Wearing a tampon can prevent any kind of odor.

But seriously, if you have odor that bad during your period, there's something wrong. And normally it's hygeine. Take a body shower every day during your period, and if you can't wear a tampon, wear a pad, but make sure to change as often. If you wear them too long, you'll start to have odor.
