i just got released from the hospital... i was in there for 2 days... they almost made me go into some in-patient program where i couldn't leave the hospital but i convinced them to have me be an out-patient so i have to go back every now and then...
do you know those IV things really do hurt?

Aww, why were you in the hospital?
The IV didn't hurt me when I had surgery  But I was freaking out when I went to the bathroom and i noticed blood was coming out of my arm and into the little tube where the fluid was going through... haha

i hate the health care here... people we know waited at the ems for 6 hours because they have glass shards in their eye, and the people there thought it wasn't life threatening, and guess what, after 6 hours you probably would go blind

yeah they do suck but the only time i've really been in there for something is when i had to get stitches when i was a little kid but i barely remember that...i hate the hospital smell though.

OMG YES THOSE IV THINGS HURT!!!!
I was in the hospital emergency room for like 9 hours! WAITING!!!!! I went to the ER and waited from like 12 pm (noon) until 9 pm at night! I missed 3 days of school because I had to stay in the hospital for 2 more days. They put the IV in my arm and eugh.. It stung for a while. And whenever they attached an extra tube to inject some other fluid into me, it stung worse! After a while I got used to the pain. But when the IV bag full of fluid was empty, they would put a new one in.. And it would sting again for the next few hours.. I HATE THE HOSPITAL.

hahah i went threw 2 or 3 IV bags... it didn't hurt me... they were gentle... i was in the ER from 3:30am - 11am... I missed school that day and I just got released an hour or two ago....
they almost made me go into some in-patient program where i couldn't leave the hospital but i convinced them to have me be an out-patient so i have to go back every now and then... i had to drink charcoal and it was so nasty... i have little bandages all over my arms because they had to take so many blood samples... i believe they took a total of 10? maybe more i dunno i was so out of it for the past couple days that i didn't even remember half the people that came in... but i was in a room with this one old crazy lady... she was actually crazy... she asked "can you put my clothes away? my clothes need to be put away." and she pointed to her lunch tray... and then later she goes "i didn't eat my dinner.. i want my dinner.." and i looked over and she did infact eat her dinner already... and she kept getting out of bed so they strapped her into this chair and she was like "i can't get the button. can you help me? i can't get it."... so my mom requested that i get a private room and i did and i didn't have to deal with the crazy old smelly disgusting lady.... |

Ugh, I hate hospitals too. I've been to the hospital a bunch of times but only have stayed overnight two of the times...and those were when I was little so I don't remember itt that much. My friend works in a hospital...I don't know how she stands it.

i dont hate hopitals...i jus dislike the ppl that work there..i went to the hospital twice..both times were for pneumonia....my mom works at one so i kno bout how sum of the ppl there are big dumbasses...the first time i went to the hospital i was in the bed and there were two nurses outside my door talkin and they were sayin (loudly) how if u get pneumonia too much u could die....i was only 8! that scared the crap out of me.. damn bitches >:/

the only time the ivs her me is when they first put it in! it kinda stings a little bit!
but i don't like hospitals either! they freak me out!  they are so white, so clean, and cold! and i know that people have died there. =/

do they actually put u in the same bed sumoen died in? i mean i kno its clean and all but it must still be kind of freaky. o and yea ive never been ot a hospital besides the day i was born ,this might sound stupid but i always woinderd how it wud feel to break sumthing... lmao yea im weird

Not all hospitials suck =] the one I was at was great... I was there for 2 and a half weeks, three times. =] And yes, IV's are the worst part of my hopsitial visits... lol [Worse then the surgery itself] ... I hate it because they stick me atleast 30+ times [not exagarating] get's to the point that they have to call a helicopter to have a perfessional give me an IV ... heh. My surgery was pushed back a day once because they couldn't get my IV in bwuahaha. =]

I had to go there a few times for my dad and one time to get x-rays of my back after i fell down a couple of concrete stairs when I was in 5th grade. Nothing was wrong but I was immobile for a good 3 months (meaning all of my God damned summer vacation)
Anyways.. Hospitals do tend to freak me out. Just looking in the rooms. It makes me wonder who stayed before. If they lived or died. if they had any family, what they had. The hallways do too because then I feel as if I'm in a movie. Especially when it's kind of late and it's dark. And I know a lot of people died in those rooms and they cried there with their families if they cared enough to be there. I Find it to be extremely.. odd. It's kind of like your from the future and just making up lives for the people who once were in the rooms. *shudder* scares me. |

Wow.. freaky... just last Thursday and Friday, I was in the hospital... and yes.. I am quite familiar with the pain of IVs... how 'bout them blood tests? Ow ow ow.
