if worse ocmes to worse, make it up

this is a pretty poor survey. "Windows" is not a type of computer. Neither is Dell Dimension. Windows is an operating system. Dell Dimension is a model of a certain brand.

you can have a windows xp operating system on a dell dimension. that's why this survey doesn't work (but chances are, your teacher might not know any better either!).

an example of a type of computer would be like, 386, PPC, Sparc, that kind of stuff.

What the hell is your question? If it is type of computer, then why do you only have 2 genuine types of computer? "Windows" is an OS.. NOT a type of computer. And why the hell would anyone prefer Windows 95 or 98 over 2000?
