The 10th Amendment, because all of our rights ultimately derive from it. Any other amendment only protects one specific right. The 10th amendment protects all of our rights.
If only the government didn't ignore it so much... |

I disagree. The ninth and tenth amendments cover all the rest. Especially the tenth amendment. A strict interpretation of the tenth amendment could, by itself, preserve the rule of law, since the government would only be allowed to do things that are written in the Constitution, and extralegal spending operations and violations of civil liberties would be not allowed. |
