go here www.short-stories.co.uk

click on post your own stories and sign up and then post your poem or short story

Then sign up and post ur story/poem, you'll get critics from real people so if it's not good they'll help you edit and once it's good, then I'm sure you'll feel confident enough to enter the writing contest

tell your teacher that..or just learn for once that no one should ever change the way you feel about things....if you think something is great the way it is..don't ever let anyone tell you different. have confidence in what you do... happy.gif thumbsup.gif

1. Do it anonymously.
2. Tell your teacher about the problem.
3. Just do it.

yeah, i would be nervous about this too, haha, yeah i write and yeah, i act. :D
i think the thing about reading your writing out loud is ... it just reveals so much about yourself. i think you should go for it. after all, you might get so famous later in life and regret this decision...hm?
