Does it bothers/annoys you when people comes up to you and they say "You're so pretty!" or "You're so handsome" or "You look like Britney Spears" or "You look like BoA" or "You're sooooooooo nice!" or "You have a very nice smile"

For me, yes... because then I act differently. I don't like it. I don't like when I act differently that I felt like it's not me at all. I don't know I just feel uncomfortable? But I say that to my friends haha... but when they say that to me, I'm like loud to quiet haha.

How about you?

If it's someone I know, then I guess I don't mind.
But I am kind of uncomfortable even with my friends sometimes.

If it were someone I didn't know..

I never act fake, so I guess I wouldn't feel that way. Meh. People don't say things like that to me, anyways.

i find it flattering, too. i find it kinda healthy for me because i have a very low-self esteem so it balances myself. not that im cocky about it .. but its nice to know someone thinks your pretty & what not. idk what im talking about ..

I just say thanks and take it as a compliment. I won't change the way I act of anything, because whether their opinion is a positive or negative thing about me is their thoughts about me, and if they don't like it...too bad!

I would get excited if someone complimented me..i love getting compliments!! It makes me feel good about myself! Last night at work some little girl told me I was pretty and I was happy lol!!

I don't like getting complimented becuase most of the time it is just people making a joke.

For example, if I am on the bus, and some guy..errr, Jamie, goes up to me. "Hey Ginny. You're lookin hot today" *licks lips*. That is the kinds of compliments I get.

And then everyone laughs.

Damn you preps. DAMN YOU I SAY!

Oh, that's SOOO true. I remember this one time, this really hot guy came up to me and called me pretty. His friends started laughing. Then I heard them talking about me and that it was a joke... pinch.gif

it's annoying for me when i hear it more than 5 times on that same day, but people don't usually compliment me.
