so yeah. valetines day is coming as we all know. and for months, i been planning to go all out and stuff for this one girl i like. so yeah, on thursday 2/10, i was planning to ask her to be my valentine. but when i got to school, one of my friend, who talked to her the night before, said, oh shit, dont ask her to be your valentine, cuz she says she sorta has one already. so yeah, so i didnt ask her to be my valentine. i got her a gold necklace, and pre-order some roses, and got the chocolates and bear, and stuff already. but now, it's going to be all returned i guess. do you guys think i should just give her the things anyways even if she already has a valentine? or what? it would be sorta wierd and awkward =\

wow, you really do like this girl.
return the necklace, give her something less expensive and just get her to like you (as a friend) first.

first of all...why did you get her all that stuff???? ohmy.gif

a gold necklace? roses? chocolate? AND A BEAR???

that's kind of over the top don't you think...? a rose and a small bear would've been good enough...you should probably give her a rose, a small, sweet poem, and then ask her...it wouldn't matter if she had a valentine already...just pretend you didn't get the memo

i would be freaked out if some guy went all out on me like that who's not even my boyfriend... wacko.gif

You went a little over the top with all that stuff.. and for a person that isn't even your girlfriend!! I'd be like "WTF IS THIS?!" if something like that happend to me. The girl you like might go out with you for pitty since you got her the stuff and she'd feel bad if she turned you down... So just get her a teddybear and a rose...

That's a little too much, but it's really sweet. Keep the gold necklace for someone else in the future. As for the chocolates, the bear, and roses...eerr..give the bear to a girl friend or something and give her the chocolates and the roses. It wouldn't be fair to the guy if she already had a valentine, so try not to go over the top.

whoaaa! you are truly scary. you got ALL that stuff for her? man, you sure like her A LOT! I just hope your not obsessed. A GOLD necklace? Hey.. my mom would like that.. maybe I should get her one.. oops.. i mean, just become her friend first =o
if a total stranger came up to me (or someone i barely knew) and gave me all those stuff... i'd be freaked out, and run far, far, FAR away. =o but everyone is different, maybe she'd really adore and appreciate the things you got her.. but if she did.. =/ maybe she'd only like you for gifts.. =/

I think you should give it to her. To show how much you care, and maybe she'll change her mind about the whole valentine things...I think that's cute what you are doing....(I wish my boyfriend was doing that.)

Yeah, that is a bit too much. Either return the gold necklace, or save it for the future. Just either give her the teddy bear and a rose or chocolates. And ask her anyways, just pretend you didn't know she had a valentine. And, that is really sweet- I wish my boyfriend would do something like that...

Reading your thing really made me feel sad. =( I'm so sorry. Maybe you should still try for it. You seem like a really sweet person.

return the necklace. give her the rose and chocolate and ask her if she will be your valentine then just say that you hope she has a great time with her valentine. At least it'll get her to see your sensitive side?
