just curious...i might. i have my learners' permit right now and i can get my N (if you're from BC, Canada you'll understand...its a license with a lot of restrictions but you can drive by yourself) by august and i might be able to get a car. my parents said either i'll pay for the car and they'll pay for insurance & gas or vice versa. yup yup.
anyone else going to get one right away, or got one right away? |

got my car a week before i got my learners permit. I think buying your car and having your folks pay the insurance sounds GOOD.
I bought everything and my insurance costs me over 3 grand a year with collision. Thats mainly cause i am 16, have a V8 motor and a ton of engine mods that are covered. oh well, i love it |

I don't know ...I might buy an used car since there's nothing I want.. what I want I can't import it.. because it'll be illegal :(. So if that's way might buy an used car that looks like what I want instead.. or the parents will just buy me something.... lol

I got my car two weeks after I got my license. It was a birthday present.
And word of advice, don't get a new car for your first car. It's bad luck. Trust me. |

i don't even have my permit yet! xP
but i will most def not get one right away. my parents won't buy me one so i will have to save up for my first car. and i will also have to get some experience on other cars. (just so i don't total my car!  )

i had a car a year before i got my license or so. It's crappy but when your gone for 2 1/2 months...you miss that piece soooo much!!!!

wtf spoiled kids :[
i didn't get a car when i first got my license, but a car was always there if you know what i mean.. parental units didn't really let me for a first couple months and they only let me drive when i got a job because unlike some of you, i have to pay for my own car insurance/gas. yeah its better they start you out with a old used car first.. just for practice unless you are very experienced. |

I got my car the day I turned 16, I woke up and went outside and my mom had a new car. I got her old car, its awsum - 2003 Tahoe. It had a big bow on it, I laughed, and then looked at my moms new car and wanted it.

haha. So true with my sister. --- Yeah, pay for the car. My sister is always stress about gas. She even complain. It cost her about 50$ or more at 76 gas station (cheapest gas price) |

Um.. I think i'm supposed to because i'm not going to share a car and my parents have things to do. It wont be expensive but It will get me places and I won't have to pay for it. So ya my parents are getting me a car!
