The problem with mainstream rap today is that it's so popular. When some people hear "rap" they automatically think "crap" because the mainstream today is all about Money, bitches, ho's and things of the sort.... _dry.gif

how can you tell me that one part of a genre is better than another? what music you like is based on your OPINION, not facts. and seeing as i don't like the rap genre as a whole, the underground scene is going to be just as unappealing as the mainstream.

i will admit that rap is at times more catchy then some rock, but i only hear rap when my sister listens to the radio so, yeah.

Im into that hardcore gangster sh*t. Even though Im not a ganster. Hey Im feeling rock a little. But Rap My fav music. I can just get loose on the dance floor and start pop lockin and break dancin. I can feel Rock but I cant bob my head to it. There really is no rhythm to it like rap. But Rock is cool. What I like even more is when they mix rap and rock together like that RUN DMC song and that Jay-Z & Linkin Park collision course.

umm...deffinately rock. rap is all about how rich ppl hav sex w/ 10 cent hoes n ditch em the next day....but the only rap i like is eminem's. at least his is true

punk/screamo/alternative/emo all the way.

Im a rap guy , but i listen to some rock . I HATE "EMO/PUNK" . I only listen to some bands like Audislave and The Servant .

That rock is for white ppl is wrong. Black people started rock. Ppl like Chuck Berry and Little Richie. So if you ask me I listen to any type of music I want. My friend at school got in trouble for wearing a shirt that said "Every month is black music month".
