Me and my parents are seriously worried about my sister. She is bipolar and on meds, but we still suspect she is suicidal. I found her Xanga, but she seems to have protected the contents in some way. If you can tell me how to get past this, me and my family would be extremely grateful

Sorry about your sister, but this belongs in the Relationship forum.
If you want to read her Xanga Entries, you must hack into her account, because she had made her entries private. Try talking to her more about it. What exactly is bipolar? |

you can't get past her protected posts, only if you get into the account of the person she subscribed to, try to talk to someone you know on her subscribed list and get into their account to view her protected posts.

I think you should discuss this situation w/ your sister about her privacy. I dont think you should butt in her business unless it's an accident.

You can view people's PRIVATE posts if you are suscribed to them? o.O, that isn't really "private". I don't think you can do that.

well i think you should talk to her firstly, and if that doesn't work try to find a suscriber or something to read them...anyways, bipolar is a form of depression when you have extreme mood swings from highs to lows that can be dangerous to one's health at times.

when you make a protected post, you make a list of people u are subscribed to who you want to see the post. so that way only u and those few people can see the post.
and bipolar is when ur mood is really high, or really low. so ur really happy, or incredibly depressed. well thats what my friend told me it was. and i think it makes sense. hope ur sister will be ok!!! |

If you really suspect a suicidal problem in this situation, I suggest contacting the Xanga.com staff.

I think she did put it in a private content. And I know that there is no way to make her blog go public unless you can contact the staff at xanga.com... and tell them that it's an emergency? That's the only way. Oh and also find out your sister's password!!

2. since she's bi-polar and stuff i really advise you not to do that lol. It would probably make things worse then make things better... 3. just talk to her about it. don't snoop around her private property. |
