well my old elementary school was very getto . i remember that when it rained hard, all of the rooms on the top floor were soaked, because of all of the leaks in the roof. If you had a locker up there you were screwed over. And sometimes the bathrooms on the thrid floor would flood, or back up into the halls, it was smelly when that did happen. The worst thing was that we had no real kitchen, we had a satilite kitchen, so everything that had to be warmed up in a gigantic microwave. The only good type of food was the frozened foods and the sandwiches.

Not really. Well..."poor" ghetto - not really. The school is doing pretty well when it comes to finances. As for the "lifestyle" ghetto - not really, either. Our school mostly consists of upper middle-class Asians and upper middle-class caucasians, so it's not really ghetto.

I'll try to answer your question, although I'm not sure how you've used the term "ghetto" since it can mean completely different things.

My school is poor, yes. Has gangsters? Rarely so it's not ghetto to the point (which you might be referring to) like in the movie "Dangerous Minds."

Elementary: I didn't think so. We had a small play ground but a big soccer field. Then again, everything is big in the eyes of a small child. Education wise, I liked what I learned in class.

Junior High: The first junior high I attended didn't have a gym. For PE, all 30 students squeezed into a trailer size classroom if it's raining. I loved the school though and PE was my all around favorite subject. The second junior high I went to was horrible. I hated it. Kids were smoking across the street because it was illegal to smoke on school grounds . My homeroom was in a broken down trailer. I remember feeling the classroom swaying side to side when it was windy. Textbooks were out of date, dirty, with pages missing.

High School: My first high school specialized in teaching foreign languages which was a plus since I knew what I wanted to learn. The school used to be in top rankings in the state of Texas... things changed. My Alma Mater is pretty neat and I have no complaints towards the facility. The people who attended though are hard to get along with.

elementary: it was about the most white-bred school ever. there were like 2 black kids, 5 asians. yes im exaggerating a bit, but the numbers really were low. the entire thing was upper-middle class suburbanite families

middle: a bit more. it was a fairly shitty school, and the other elementary school was a lot more "ghetto" compared mine. there was diversity to speak of

high: if we were still in the old building, then perhaps, but they built a new one a couple of years ago. the other middle school had white kids as a minority, so there are ghetto parts to it, but otherwise its a pretty good school

so in summery, its not ghetto, but theres a large amount of people who would like to think it is
