I think like 10% of people that were Highschool sweethearts get married... Now most high school relationships are for fun, er social reasons, and a few or really infatuations... Whats your opinion on this?

at my high school, the students will like someone and then they find out that the person they like, likes them back. and then they go out for like 3 weeks and then they start talking about HOW DEEPLY IN LOVE THEY ARE! rolleyes.gif

it seems like the L work gets thrown around alot these days.

Love is a overused overated word in highschool... You dont love someone 3days after talking to them... Society isnt make it any better too. Now people refer to dating or going out the game... Pretending to be pimps and etc.

Love has become an overused word..it's not really sacred anymore....so I mean it's like a mandatory thing in relationships...the couple needs to say the "I love you" words every time they see it other becuz it kinda reassures them that they're together and "in love". Meh, most high school relationships are like that...I believe that most but there seems to always be one...that's somehow different from the rest and that do mean it when they say it. happy.gif

I look at hs relationships as for fun and so do most of my friends. if you find true love there and end up getting married, then more power to ya!

I think you are bullshit. Who are you to judge who is in love or not? Maybe what they are feeling is their definition of love.

i agree with both of those...but i usually hear it within a week of the relationship...especially when they put it in their profile or whatever they're like i <3 you hubby!!! or something ermm.gif

i believe my relationship is true love...it's been about 7 months now...

As th stated before, people have their own definition of love. It could be two minutes or two years before you fall in love, it's whatever you think it is.
