Yes, here is an excellent link for the encoder, and on the page is a link for the decoder.

even though I haven't figured out how to run them properly offline, they sound better and more compact. |

Use a PHP decoder/encoder, those work the best, so the person won't be able to go back to the site and decode your encoded code. =]

I heard there's a way to do it with a word/typing program. Like Microsoft Word or Wordpad or something?

k php is a simple code.....
i read it like the back of my hand...there's a plug in in dream weaver that allows you to decode php.....altough i don't really use it...it's pretty good.....but most of the time the "@" simble before the process won't show any viewers/guests the errors...or code process done...withen the php coding....if the creator does not want it to be seen. this would be the simble they use. usinging this plug in allows you to view the full code by dycrypting it....email me at my contact if you would like me to send you the plug-in.....if you study php well enough you can just read the code like plain english and change it as you see fit....i recommend you study. as for the encoding..it comes standard in the new php....well....you should read some php books they should explain it im not gonna give a lecture on this forum. |

QUOTE(XxArsonFreakxX @ Mar 1 2005, 11:51 PM) Great question. I've seen the word PHP around, so I'm familiar with it but I don't know exactly what it is. Until you asked, I never thought about it. I'm going to try googling it...which seems to be the answer to everything these days for me. |
