how do you make pictures for layouts so that they upload fast without distorting the picture? what program do you use? where do you upload it? and what file extention do you use?

i use jpegs or gifs. they're smaller in size so they load faster and still maintain decent resolution and quality. i use ACDsee 5.0 to edit, resize, and rename my photos in batches or one at a time. also try the new Picasa2 photo program by Google. works great too. happy.gif

adobe photoshop CS has alot of features plus there's alot of tutorials for it

I usually use png and upload it at imageshack.us then again, it depends on the size of your file [:

I use .gifs. and .jpeg..then again I have DSL, so I guess that's why everything loads really fast.

Use http://xs.to or imageshack.us to upload.
