coding where u can put a image next to entry date? Options

I was wondering if anybody knew a coding for Xanga where u can put a image next to entry date.

This is what I'm hoping the code will do for me:

well, the only thing i can think of right now, is making that into a bigger gif image. then, upload it and put that url in this code:

I can't seem to make the image not repeat and some of it has been cut off too. It looked funny.
