Groundhog's Day, ...don't be fooled...

As far back as I can remember, the groundhog has always ended up "seeing its shadow" on Groundhog's Day. Well, of course it will. Logically, a groundhog would return to it's home, whether it was scared by a shadow or not, after seeing a million faces staring at it. So we've set ourselves up to be let down...over and over again. To me, Groundhog's Day is only good for 59˘ cheeseburger's from McDonald's...do you believe in this myth/tradition?

Oh yeah. Well, we used to have 39 centd hamburgers and 49 cent cheeseburgers on tuesdays stubborn.gif I wonder why we don't have that anymore blink.gif Bleh, that was like 7 years ago.

Yep! I actullay made that day as my own holiday! lol. My friend works at McD's so Im updated all the time. But anyways, I don't belive in Groundhog day neither. It's all bullshit. 6 weeks...nah.

If u live in NYC, u may have seen what our Mayor did during Groundhog's day. In the morning, when I was watching TV, I saw the Mayor with alot of people waiting for the groundhog to get out of its little house. It didn't get out or even move so someone push the groundhog from behind the house so he would fall out and then the mayor said "it didn't see its own shadow, Spring Coming"

Poor groundhog getting push like that.

i didn't watch the news this morning...i was busy trying to get to school on time for once...i didn't succeed...



i don't believe in all this groundhog crap...it's kind of stupid, how is a groundhog going to know if winter will be over by seeing his shadow or not? this is ridiculous

i think groundhog's day is lame. our town is so redneck, one of the radio stations had a guy dressed up as a cowboy sit in a wooden outhouse, then when the time was right or whatever, he walked out and looked to see if his shadow was visible. oh the stupidity...

if the ground hog sees his shadow, its winter for longer... but in order for it to see its shadow it has to be SUNNY.

if he doesn't see his shadow, its spring but it has to be CLOUDY


wtf, makes no sense.
