converting music file..., how?

okay, there is this music file i have, that i want to download to a CD, so i can listen to it away from my computer, but i don't know how to do that. how do you? is it even possible? pleeeeaaaaaaaseee people help me!!!!!!!!! thanks :)

Do you have the CD burner program, the CD burner um disc thing (that thing where you put and eject discs), and blank CDs? If you do, then I'll show you how. =] But I don't want to spend all this time explaining if you don't..=x

yeah i have a place that i put the CD to copy/record the CD onto. =]


edit---


wait..i know how to put a file to a CD, like if i got the CD from a friend and wanted to make a copy; but what i need to know is how to change the format of a music file so that i CAN put it onto a CD. The file is a ".wma", but i got it online. thats what i want to know, is how to make it so that i CAN put that song onto a CD, because right now it says that i cant. thanks!
