ska is coming to its dark ages again....well it was always on its dark ages

have u herd of ska? its not a band it a style/genre... i think its pretty cool, my friends and i are looking for a tromebone (sp*) player for our band....

hmm, i never thought it was really underground. but anyways, i don't like it that much (that is if i'm right in the assumption that bands like reel big fish are ska?).

I think Ska is awesome. It sounds so fresh and new. I think the only ska band i got into was the supertones, but i haven't heard what happened to them or if they're even still around. but yah ska is def good cool.gif

Less Than Jake is the only ska band that I've heard from recently. :X I really don't listen to it ... oh and Five Iron Frenzy too! laugh.gif

Ska is pretty sweet. But Skacore is better, it's a pretty new genre.

Sad to say cry.gif the supertones are breaking up..... Five Iron Frenzy was the best but they are gone... cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

ive heard of ska before and i enjoy it. my fav. bands are letters to cleo and save ferris. you should check them out if you havent yet.

I still like ska...but it's not all about the genre itself, it depends on who's singing/playing/performing it. Like, I love No Doubts ska/pop/rock fusion. Classic...

I haven't heard that many ska bands to like it. I've seen a ska band live one time.. at Disneyland. I forgot what they were called, but they were pretty awesome.

Yeah I've heard of Ska music...No Doubt kinda popularized it. I 4got the name of the band, but I remember that ska song "Never Had 2 Knock on Wood"...LOVE that song tongue.gif ! Love that style of music! It's so wicked! 2 bad I dunno more than 2 ska bands/artists or else I'd listen 2 it more sad.gif .

i wouldnt consider no doubt as pure ska... but they're like a mix of pop, rock, ska and some others i guess. but whatever it is, it's a REALLY GOOD mix.

EVERYONE in Long Beach LOVES Sublime...they can be the most ghetto thug in the world, but they LOVE their Sublime...much love from their hometown (I used 2 live there & I have fam. there, that's why I knoe).
