Can you be a little more specific, if not my answer to you would be the mundane "long distance relationships are hard ... blah blah blah...".

first, if you really like him than go for it, but you've gotta know that long distance relationships are hard. if you still can live without him than think about it, do you want to get into a long distance relationship?
well long distance relationship takes alot of trust and communication. i'm in one right now, it's pretty alright. but then it's cause we were best friends before, so we know each other pretty well. so i think you should get to know him a little more then go from there |

My friend Jocelyn and her boyfriend Eric have been together for 5 years going VERY strong and they see each other maybe twice a year? (They live 6 hours apart). Long distance relationships require the most discipline and maturity out of all relationships. Ask yourself if you contain that level of maturity and commitment... look at Jocey and Eric! I don't think you should...but if you REALLY really like him...and you think about him constantly...and..this is a mutual feeling between you and him then I think you should go for it...but remember...long distance relationships require trust and fidelity.

If you can't see him more than once a year, don't bother unless you are able to make your own decisions (about 22 years old) so that you can save money to go see him.

sadly enough, most long distance relationships break apart because the intimacy and love dies. my advice would be to break it off. unless if u can like, visit them once per year or more, break it off.

I wont be able to see my guy every year, because he literally lives half way around the world. Thanx for the info guyz, I've made my decision. I'm 16 for that one girl who was asking. Also, I can't type?!?!?

well it's seriously up to you or not whether you want to go on with this long distance relationship. as you said, your bf is like half way across the world, so is mine, and we've been together for quite awhile now

i knoe exactly how u feel! My bf lives in NY and i live in Hawaii! It can be hard at tymes becuz u wanna see him and talk to him but with the tyme difference and stuff itz kinda difficult! But me and my bf have been together for about 4 months and we're actually doing great! so my advice...is to go for it! long distance relationships aren't as hard as people say them to be! well at least not for me

well I guess that means long distance relationships are different for everyone. The next time I'll be able to see him will be in 2 years. I think that will be extremely hard for me. Thanx for the advice everyone.
