Can you do nothing but weights as your daily exercise and still lose weight??

Run with weights tied to your ankles.

And besides, when u gain more muscle, don't it burn up fat or something?
(probably not. i'm really tired)

no... lifting weights won't effectively burn your fats as lifting weights are only supposed to exercise your skeletal muscles. Fats are usually on top of the muscle layer, so most people that want defined abs need to run first.

if you want to lose weight, cardio exericses like the elliptical mechine will do the trick.. make sure you do it for at least 30 min.. ellipticals are easy on your knees.

oh btw, make sure you eat right... diet is just as important as exercise.

Of course! like jog around...um, play sports...stuff like that. and watch your diet. i dont though lol, i eat anything, it may have tons of fat but ill eat it. and i aint neva get fat lol

it can make u lose weight if u do it as like aerobi excercise. LIke instead of benching 200 1 time .u can do bench 75lbs 20x ...and do set and rep over and over...woa la ur body is perfect! but ur stamina sux as hell, just like me.

Lifting weights is mostly the muslce building part...Try running or something.

do 50 sit ups every night and eat healthy during the day.thats what im doing right now.

if all you do is lift weights, you will probably GAIN weight because you will gain muscle. and muscle weighs more than fat. i think...sorry, i don't know much! pinch.gif
