HELP WITH CHANGING ENTRY DATE'S POSITION/SIZE Options

Hey you guys/gals! I wanted to change my entry date's position and size but I have no idea how. I am the worst person with xanga scripts! lol. This is what I have so far...

How can I make the font size bigger and move it into the center? PLEASE HELP! Another thing, I put a border around my dates and entries, but the date is too close to the top and kindof touches the top line... how can I move it down a little bit, so it's more centered? Thanks for any help you can give me. I really appreciate it!

THANKS! but now my boxed entry/date doesnt work... do you know how to make a line go under the date, so i can take out the box? Thanks for any help you can give me!
